Most runs take place in the evening, making them a great way to burn off any after-work stress.
The Celina Garden Club: Whether you have a green thumb or merely hope to cultivate one, this local gardening club is the place to grow. In addition to sharing a love of all things gardening, the club participates in events to beautify the local community and funds a scholarship for seniors at Celina High School. The club meets at various locations on the fourth Monday of the month at 9:45 AM, and though membership is required, anyone can apply.
North Dallas Gaming Group: This local gaming group is about getting lost in far-off worlds and meeting new people. The group typically meets at the Thirsty Growler in the Colony on Tuesdays; while the focus is often on Euro-style board games, gamers are encouraged to bring along any game of interest to them. You can check out their Meetup page to get the details on their next event.
Celina Rotary: With a global network of over a million members, Rotary is one of the largest organizations bringing together established professionals for volunteer service. The Rotary chapter meets the first and third Friday of the month at noon at Lamar National Bank. Meetings often include a guest speaker that ties in with the Rotary Club’s focus on taking action to create lasting change for the betterment of the local community.
Collin County Bass Club: If nothing is better than a day on the lake and the thrill of reeling in largemouth bass, you will find your people with this local group of anglers. The local club meets once a month at Rudy's BBQ in Frisco, where local members plan upcoming trips and tournaments, and listen to guest speakers of notable esteem in the bass fishing world.
